Imperial Japanese Navy carrier Akagi pre-Pearl Harbor scenes

These clips were put together from a really old VHS tape of the 1956-vintage documentary "Air Power" narrated by Walter Cronkite. The footage was taken from Japanese Navy sources aboard the Akagi (exterior views)and vintage Japanese movie clips (interior views). Some good close-up shots of the island portion of the Akagi and its flight deck...plus various views of Vals, Kates and Zeros. A few shots were aboard other Japanese vessels (the sailors exercising/wrestling etc)... video clips assembled for Youtube by Greg Clarke
